Big Rock Candy Mountaineering designs vintage-inspired outdoor clothing based on early American alpinists, mountaineers, and gear innovators who defined the outdoor style of the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Founded by Sam and Peter in 2022, the brand has a very unique nostalgic nod to the good old days of climbing and mountaineering, with beautiful Vintage West Coast inspired takes on winter jackets, tough canvas shirting and proper accessories. Inspired by the shirting made by pioneering mid-century outdoor brands, the Nova Canvas Shirt has a traditional roomy fit and utilises heavy-weight cotton canvas. It is constructed using a larger-sized thread and features double-needle felled seams throughout the garment. BRCM wash these down once finished to jump-start the breaking-in process.
