The New York Knickerbockers 1912 Ballcap is hand-sewn from genuine cotton baseball cloth. They played in the United States Baseball League, which was the mother of all research challenges as it was trying to establish a "major" league independent of the organised baseball structure. The Knickerbocker's played at the Bronx Oval, but had league folded by June 5th, after only one year.
