HOW TO MEASURE

JACKETS/SHIRTS/TEES

For the most accurate fit, start with a jacket or shirt you already own and love.
Lay the garment flat on a hard surface and take all measurements in centimetres. Match these against our size chart and, if you’re between sizes, we recommend rounding up.

Measurement Guide

A. Chest: Measure straight across the garment from armpit to armpit, 1” below the armpit.
B. Body Length: Measure down the centre back, from the base of the neck to the hem.
C. Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder seam down to the cuff.

SHORTS/PANTS/TROUSERS

A. Waist (Stretched): Measure straight across the waistband at its maximum stretch.
B. Outseam: Measure from the top of the waistband down the outer leg to the hem.
C. Front Rise: Measure from the top of the waistband down to the crotch seam at the front.

In early 2012, Pilgrim Surf + Supply opened its doors in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on what was at that time a quiet corner near longtime neighbours and businesses. Over the years, the shop grew into a sort of gathering space, as well as a business, for surfers, friends and the community. The store hosted artists, filmmakers, musicians, writers, and surfers. Shortly after, Pilgrim the clothing brand got off the ground working with a few small factories in the Garment District. Around that same time, they partnered with Beams of Japan to pilot a residency in Tokyo. Since then, through this partnership, Pilgrim has opened stores in Tokyo and Kyoto, and the Pilgrim apparel collection has grown to what it is today

This classic Zip Parka, based on surf team jackets from the 1960s, is the perfect lightweight jacket with a slash pocket and a breast pocket, elasticated cuffs and a drawstring at the hem. The fabric is an eco-friendly polyester made from recycled post-consumer plastic bottles (ECOPET) and plant-derived materials (Solotex), with a soft texture, light stretch and wrinkle-resistant.
